CHEETA Brightens up December school holidays for orphans...
During school holidays the children at Rearabilwe place of safety in Ga-Rankuwa that don't have the opportunity to go home to their families are normally bored and frustrated. Over the festive season, it is even harder for these little ones, ranging in age from only 6 months old to teenagers in high school.
Our education team had great fun with the children at this facility during December '12 and January '13 by visiting them frequently and presenting the cheetah challenge programme to the children at Rearabilwe. This will be an ongoing programme as there are constantly new children joining this facility, and the skills taught with the crafts and computers will be very beneficial for the youngsters as they become young adults entering the work-force.
